Im guessing theres gonna be another "...no , I! Am your father!" line. Maybe Yoda will turn out to be Anakins father?

Or Dooku , or Palpatine....or Jar Jar....who cares Wicket E Warrick could be Anakins father!

No, but it does take a genius to figure out that they are NOT the same. Take me for example...

Guess that Dooku is Anakins father. After Anakin have chopped him up (wich he will probably do) Dooku will tell him "Anakin....Im your father!". End of story.

LOL This thread reminds me of that commerical for "This Week in History" where that guy keeps coming into the office saying "Oh my god its official! America is independent!" "Oh my god we just landed on the MOON!" and everyone keeps looking at him like he's out of his mind. :wstupid:

Some more evidence for the dumbasses that argue "Palpatine is 173, Sidious is 178!!" taken directly from the place where they found fuel for their argumentations!! starwars dot com!

Okay, just read this...

"Palpatine was the supreme ruler of the most powerful tyrannical regime the galaxy had ever witnessed, yet his roots are extremely humble, traced back to the peaceful world of Naboo."

hm,hm...

well, just read it all yourselves:

senator palpy=emperor palpy

we all know that, but

is senator\emperor palpy=sidious?

that is the question

I would say no, it is just too obvious that they are same. Therefore, they are not the same

How stupid can a person be...sorry.

If Palpatine isn't a Sith, then what the hell is he??! He fried Luke, remember?? now where have we seen those lightning-bolts before?? They look to be a popular trick among them Sith-folks..

Now you'll probably argue that "of course palpy is a sith, but not necessarily sidious!" or something like that...

PALPATINE = SIDIOUS!!!

how dang difficult can it be...the only "shocking" revelation in episode three will be when the jedi find out that Palpatine has been the Sith-lord, and played them for fools all, all along...

...and when anakin finds out that palpy is sidious, he chops 5 cm of sidious' head, so that Sidious\palpy is now only 1.73 meters

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiigth

Why do you think Lucas is trying to hide something from the audience? I think Palpatine is trying to hide the fact that he's a Sith from the people who actually inhabit the SW universe. I've said it before, I'll say it again: When does Sidious appear? When he's dealing with underlings... the Niemoidians obviously know Palpatine and Sidious are one in the same (Sidious tells them the papers Queen Amidala signs will be ratified by the Senate, and Newt supposedly told Dooku about the Palpatine/Sidious connection)... and the other times, he's again dealing with underlings, his Apprentices, Maul and Dooku on Coruscant. Now Maul and Dooku were both very recognizable, Dooku as a Sith and leader of the Seperatists and Maul as a futute Jedi-killing, Queen-kidnapping Sith. If Palpatine were identified with either of these two, his plans would be foiled, hense he disguises himself. Not a good long-turn disguise, but if he had a make a quick get-away, no one would suspect they were the same person at first glance. We know they're the same from the near-omnicient eyes of the audience, but the people in the movie don't.

In Star Wars "everything happens for a reason".
