Sebulba-Dug
Is it even possible to make a Jabba the Hutt model? Or is his shape too odd?
studman0201
jay made one, and sent a pic to MysticSpade... a respectable person who doesn't lie. So ask jay or MysticSpade. MysticSpade didn't post the pic because he wanted to make sure jay wanted him to. But I believe MysticSpade, so soon enough we will see this Jabba Model
Horrorz2002
Or, even more likely, it will be revealed as yet another grand hoax caused by our favourite friend -- Studman! Don't get your hopes up, for Studman has already proven himself to be an immature sadistic fool ( ). He's not exactly the most loved individual in these parts... Horrorz2002
Forget it, I'm not even going to get started.
Emon
You can make a Jabba model, but not for the player. If you use the humanoid skelaton, the model will grossly deform into a wiggly pile of glop when moving, thus rendering it's enture useage useless. KMan
If things go well for me, after I finish my Rocketeer, I would like to make a mapmodel of Jabba. It would be a good skinning test for me as well.
VampireHunterD
I've got a .max file of jabba that's not extremely high-poly and can be used as a map model if you're interested kman. I'm not lying either.
VampireHunterD
Can someone please tell me where I can go to upload a picture of Jabba so everyone can see it? I can't post any pics on mcowart's place right now since he's on vacation. I would really appreciate it if someone would let me know. Thanks. MUHAHAHAHAHA
Isn't that the model from theforce.net? They have it skinned and everything, if I remember correctly. I had problems working with it in 3DSMax, but it's probably just because I don't know what I'm doing...
VampireHunterD
I think it is. I don't really remember where I got it. Anyway, it was too high poly to begin with so I optimized it to where it was in around 2000 something.
