uhm.. wip saber hilt.. need help

everytime i try to skin this mofo model i made, it seams to be pixelated, and off by far.. its driving me crazy, i need some major help (if you wanna try a shot at it - go for it)

Go download the JK2 dev tools kit. It has everything you need.

 

1.) sabers should never exceed 1000 vertices.

 

2.) sabers should never exceed 1200 polys (just to keep things fast, and because they're small!)

 

I'm not sure what you mean by your skin being off and pixelated. It sounds like you haven't mapped your model yet, which is definitely something you need to do before skinning it.
