Chastan
Try reinstalling Jedi Knight 2... this may be a problem with the data files actually... and delete any mods you may have tried to download (if any...) P.S. What kind of card did you try to put in there? The V3 isn't too popular anymore...
JediNeo
I managed to get that miniGL driver installed after all... but now no 3dfx splashscreen, just the message- "Not a wicked3D voodoo2 board (glide2x.dll) board with multi-texturing is required. Use the other version of teh driver for boards with one texture unit" This doesnt make too much sense as i have a voodoo3 board and i installed the version of wickedGL for "voodoo banshee / 2 / 3 boards" so how do i get it to realise i have a voodoo3!! theres no actual options here! teleguy
Did you select "Install WickedGl regular version"?
JediNeo
Yeah I tried that, got that error message, and then i tried uninstalling the driver and then did it again but clicked the advanced one - the high resolution acceleration thing? that does the same thing though. Anyway I can tell it I have a v3 and not 2?
JediNeo
Is there any chance installing the update would fix this problem do u think? and also isn't there a way I can just get my card to use direct3D for jk2? And are there any good tools which can help me tweak my card which could possibly help my prob!! any help HUGELY appreciated.

You have to remember that the demo is just that...a demo not the real game. The real game often differs greatly from its demo. Plus with 3dfx not supported anymore you may need to look into a new card. Almost every game company is now saying they will no longer support the 3dfx products because no new drivers are coming out. I wish you the best of luck but it may be time to wake up and smell the coffee and buy a Geforce/ATI card. Good luck, your gonna need it.
