Jecht-X
JKII ran fine whilst I was using 2K, now i've installed XP, every once in a while it gets a bit jerky I'm using a Dell 4100 with 1ghz pentium and 256RAM if that helps Any ideas as to what the problem may be? Altus_Thrawn
I think I might be having a similiar problem, sometimes when I play multiplayer, my character jerks around as if someone is force-pushing me, but there is no one there.
fr0zenC3PO
try running the game with the "Gl" extensions disabled in the video setup screen. When i first put the game on, the jerking also happened to me too. If u are running with the extensions disabled, then i dunno what is causing it. Anways, thats my two cents

Microsoft had some non-ingenius idea to get vendors to distribute, or over ride thier distribution with, a opengl to D3d wrapper instead fo an opengl ICD. Installing your vendors latest drivers should replece this usless MS feature with a real opengl ICD. However in order to do it, you HAVE to follow the uninstall/disable instrucitons from your vendor toward the current drivers before installing the vendor's. Sith Maximus
I run on XP with no problems at all. If you did an upgrade to XP then that alone could be the problem. If not just uninstall the game and your videocard drivers. Then run defrag and install your videocard drivers in safe mode. When that is complete reinstall JK2. Make sure that you do not have beta drivers, these drive XP nuts. Also turn off MSN messenger before you pay, its a hog and on by default. If you did just upgarde to XP then this is the first of many problems. Do a reinstall and select that option when it comes up. All you need is your 200 disk to install XP if all you have is an upgarade version. Good Luck.
