Emon Posted July 16, 2002 Share Posted July 16, 2002 Retexture everything and remove the caulk. Caulk is not needed on unseen surfaces, with the exception of behind patches and on detail brushes. Sof2map automatically culls unseen surfaces in the BSP process, so caulking everything you don't see is a waste of your time. Use r_showtris 1 when you are done with your map to make sure there aren't any unseen triangles which are drawn. If there are, caulk those.
