ad1066 Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 Hey all, I'm trying to get into the elevator in Hector's casino. The big purple guys asks me a question, and I can scroll through the numbers to answer, but when I hit Enter, nothing happens. The game's not crashed, because I can still load a game or quit. Anyone heard of this before? Is this a bug? I have the patch installed.
Gexx Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 Does the game freeze after you ask a question? If so I'd try a few more times to ask the question. Or if that doesn't work try to find someone who has a save game a little bit after that.

I've been having this problem for a while, I even uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, and stared over from the beginning. No dice. If anyone does have a saved game right after this point, I'd really appreciate it.
Gexx Posted July 18, 2002 Posted July 18, 2002 Sorry then I don't know what it could be. Maybe your CD is bad. I would e-mail LucasArts about it and ask some people around here if they might have any saves.

Tall Guy Posted July 21, 2002 Posted July 21, 2002 try using something other than a keyboard to select answers. if you have a joystick, configure that and then try to select answers with that untill you get past that part of the game....then you can go back to using the keyboard.

If someone could send me the save file from after the puzzle (or onward, basicaly I just want to see the ending I heard so much about!) that would be greatly apriciated.
