mez1109
Tisk, Tisk Tisk, I expected more from you MotionMan, trying to keep Mace Windu alive even though he is doomed, no destined to die in SW3. I know EU is different to SW, but I dought it is that different by resurecting characters you are 100% sure that they are dead. No one is 100% sure Boba dies in SW6, so you can say he survived, no one sees Boba breathing his last breath. ET Warrior, don't you want to see more of your favorite character is SW in the a TV series, did that change you mind? Anyway, the TV series are going to be like EU if ever created, no way the SW Movies be effected, its not like the comics and games based on EU ruined the movie, well did they? ET Warrior
Even if the TV series was dedicated to Plo Koon, i still wouldn't want it on TV. I simply would hate it immensly

Can you say "Emperor Palpatine"? Sure... I knew you could...
ET Warrior
What? Palpatine didn't die....he just fell down that bottomless shaft.....even though it had to end somewhere, as the deathstar wasn't infinitely big....and he didn't get blown to pieces when the death star exploded............... Robbiesan
bad idea.. SW should be left on the big screen..
-Chrono_MOT-
I disagree, I think a SW Series would be a great idea for fans of the series. Especially since after the movies there will be no more live-action star wars movies at all. For those who don't know, they don't write episodes on a weekly basis, there's something called down-time and seasons. During mid-season, the new episodes are written for that TV's respective season (i.e. the Simpsons airs in Fall, all episodes are written during Spring and Summer) so GL wouldn't be critiquing episodes by the week. That's downright stupid. Any way, if you ask me they should do Star Wars centuries ago, and it could be about a variety of things. Technically, you could do whatever you wanted because no story exists during the Sith Age (1000 years ago) and the Jedi Age (25 prior to ANH). You could have Yoda telling a story, you could have SO many different possibilities for episodes the series could go on forever. Or, you could do it a number of ways and tell stories like Boba Fett, Mara Jade, etc. But that would be stupid because people would be crying for the original actors to play people like Luke and Han and everyone else. If they ever make SW: The series, it needs to be in a timeline where no one except the obvious people exist. If it's 500 years prior to ANH, the only person you should ever see that's familiar is Yoda.
ET Warrior
to put it as simply as i can.....a tv series would not be star wars. You cannot build up the kind of storytelling atmosphere that star wars has in a weekly show. Unless this weekly show is 2 hours long....and consists only of footage from the star wars movies.....i cannot believe it could ever do anything but damage the star wars name. ET Warrior
The gods in the EUniverse were killed a long time ago.....and never brought back...that's why people are able to be cloned so many times.....nobody in charge of souls and keeping them where they belong! mez1109
-Chrono_MOT- has a exellent idea, the life and adventures of Young Yoda, not bad. I don't know what some of you find some funny about SW characters still living in the EU. Have you even read any EU? NO? Probably find it too rubbish. I didn't say that ALL characters live in the EU after being killed in SW movies, like the only way to bring Darth Maul back, is by creating a clone, his twin brother or his species can regrow parts of his body and can only be killed by chopping of their heads. Or something like that. MotionMan is also right, most EU characters can never be killed, as there is no point of having a Boba Fett Comic, then killing of Boba, is it? You never see Batman or Superman die in his comics, do you, he does get hurt, bashed and smashed but still get away with it at a hairs length. I don't think though it is such a good idea to ressurect characters in the episodes, maybe show their lifes before their death, but please no cloning or ressurections. ET Warrior
see, the thing about EU isn't the fact that the characters get out of rediculously impossible situations, it kind of happens in the movies (ANH, on the death star) The problem is the fact that they DO die......but they are back in the next book....either cloned or they somehow didn't die in the massive explosion that surrounded them......
