Why can't people relax, and take things a little more "oh, yeah...that's ok" instead of saying a whole bunch of stuff... So, it's spam?? Why say anything?? BUT. when you start spaming in a doomed thread ala MASSASSI style... all you do is make it so that a harmless thread is now a spam fest. this is not allowed by the (loose as they may be) rules. the rules are posted for all to read as much as you like, stickyed at the top of the valley and the swamp.
