Darth Knight Posted July 23, 2002 Share Posted July 23, 2002 when cs first came out i played that forever it was my favorite game i got anew computer a few months ago so i didn't have it on any more and i lost the cd but i found it yesterday that game had like really good graphics when i was playing it but now the graphics are so LAME!!! i mean it is a great game but it is just werid i have been playing JO and that made cs turn lame now that i thought would never happen Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After JO, Renegade, War Craft III, GTA3, etc. it just doesn't stack up anymore. Hopefully CS:CZ will be as good as they say it is. I love CS as much as the next guy. I don't judge it for it's outdated graphics but for it's incredible strategic gameplay. As long as your in a noob free enviroment with people who know how to play the game. Comparing a frag-respawn shooter that came out.... how many years later?... to a one-shot-one-kill-end-of-story shooter that came out before the Millenium just can't be done.... sorry. But, I'll admit it now - I'm a CS deprived soul. I've never gotten my chance to abuse it back when it was the coolest mod on the block (back then I had a 486 and 56k.... oi. ), and I doubt I would find the graphics appealing now..... but hell, I'm all for CS2 if i runs on the High-Res pack. Maybe it'll fill the void that was boredom like Tribes 2 did a year or two ago. And you can bet that I will be the sniper aiming at the back of your skull from that window 10 yards away. Everytime I play CS now I want to roll forward by pressing CTRL+Forward. I've always thought that 3rd Person lightsaber combat might liquidate 1st person shooting skills, but it's quite the opposite; I lost my first three saber only duels after playing CS before getting my skills turned back on. Now I'm waiting till FALL for the ever-delayed CS:Condition Zero. Btw Condition Zero isn't Counter-Strike 2; CS2 is a game for HL2 or TF2, CS:CZ is a standalone singleplayer game that adds stuff to multiplayer which will later be shared by everyone via future patches. I was going to say the same thing. CS:CZ won't replace CS, it's going to be added to the HL server lists. CZ will be backwards compatible, but some servers will be CZ only servers.
