Well yeah, once you get into the higher levels of math you get into that but still I was proving how his statement was wrong.

I didn't understand what you meant about writing it out it was wrong. I was still under the impression it was a purely mathmatical statement.

right this isnt a question .... its just sumthing to ponder as i dont believe it has an answer

infinity + infinity = infinity

infinity x infinity = infinity

we know these are true

but what about

infinity / infinity = ?

and

infinity - infinity = ?

Posted

hmmm alright....i think i have one

This is for the star wars series in books......who is the stongest jedi ever (that also counts who has the most potential)

this is a little harder than u think

i believe kyp dyrron was supposed to be the strongest ever ... stronger than luke who was stronger than vader

altho most people discount him

Infinity is just infinity, you can't add to it, cant multiply it. divide or subtract. Because you don't know what it is. and it goes on forever, you can't calculate something that never ends.

were inf. a normal number inf/inf would be 1

but infinity cannot be added to OR subtracted from

so infinity - infinity should= infinity

but thats silly

theres lots of stuff out there thats silly

you would think that infinity/infinity=1 and infinity-infinity=0

however the fact is that infinity doesnt always equal infinity

2/0 = infinity

4/0 = 2infinity which is a different infinity

thats the problem with the question kabay

it depends what books u read

and who u think is the strongest ...

ask another

Strongest in what way?

Pure Strength?

most potential?

I don't know enough about the EU but the question isn't really clear enough it depends on how your measuring strength

infinity ALWAYS = infinity

the problem is that infinity neva ends and isnt really a number

more of a concept

Well yes, that'S what we do with Pi, you could never calculate that to the last decimal but we take out a section.

But can you even tell me what one section of Infinity would look like :xp:

flat and pretty boring from the way i try to imagine infinity

depends how u wanna imagine it

with for some reason .... a square grid on it :)
