Guest Warlord
Ok, was checking the specs for each civ, from the preview given by Mrfixitonline.com, and it was given to them by lucasarts. Here it is: Troops Mechs Sea Air Jedi Rebel Alliance 2 5 4 1 3 Galactic Empire 2 1 5 4 3 Trade Federation 3 1 2 5 4 Royal Naboo 4 5 2 1 3 Gungan 3 2 1 4 5 Wookie 1 3 4 2 5 (1= very good , 5 = not so good) Ok look at the trade federation, its mainly, it is an all robotic civ, yet it has descent troops, and look crapp mechs, and that does not make scence. It also has great jedi's, well which sorta makes sence with darth maul, but I think this will change. What do you guys think, I was looking forward to playing tf, yet their civ does not fit the specs.
Darth_Rommel
1= best 5= worst... Does that explain it?
Guest Tie Guy
Yeah, the TF has great, mechs and ok troops, you read it backwards. Your right though, it wouldn't make sense if it was the otehr way around.
Guest xwing guy
Yeah the TF have the same mech rating that the Imps got. That means that the TF MTT is about as good as an AT-AT. And the AAT is about as good as the AT-ST. Imps vs. TF would be a good match-up to see.

Guest xwing guy
Can yall believe this! The gungan troops and mechs are better than the Naboo's, and the Naboo are supposed to be more technologically advanced than the gungans.

The Gungans don't even HAVE mechs so naturally their big empheses should be Troops and Navy. Yet they have better mechs than the Naboo???
Guest Warlord
Yeah, well this chart is subject to changed, so I hope it does, the TF stats seem accurate, but the whole gungans having better mechs than naboo, is messed, but we really didn't see any mechs in the movie, by either race. Guest Gamma732
Well, if the Gungans can pull out big ugly flying whales to use as an air unit, they probably have organic 'mech's. And Naboo shouldn't have good mechs because in the movies the biggest land vehicles they had were speeder varations. Gungans can have big animal-type units, ie: Fambaa-like creatures. Guest xwing guy
Yeah the Fambaa and other big animals are the gungan mechs.
Guest IwantGBGnow!
Ok people. The wise Ionfizzle decides to speak. I saw someone say GE vs. TF would be a good matchup. Soon as I get this game, I challenge the first one to answer to a matchup. Me TF and you GE
Guest midgetminnie
Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums so gimme all that "welcome" mumbo jumbo:c3po: Personally, I think Rebels look the best, so I can unload their pretty good troops from their awesome air Also, remember, though they care about movie accuracy, they want the game balanced. If that includes giving the Gungans great air (which I doubt they'll do, but this is just a hypothetical situation), then they'll do it. What do you care about more, balance or making sense? Guest Admiral Odin
an unbalanced game would mean no fun. Certain civs would rule. Naboo are peaceful and dont' have a large army (if at all), yet they have one in the game for balance. The movies are a starting spot where ideas are taken, and other things changed. Welcome, and you can enjoy my last, and only, giftbasket. **Hands Midget the Gift Basket** Enjoy Anyways, to answer your question, i think that balance is more important, even though they should have as much accuracy as possible while still remaining balanced. Guest Warlord
Yeah, I agree I would rather have a game thats balanced, because the movie, obviously did not show everything, becasue even in the movie, they had no reason to use mechs, they used naboo fighters, to destroy droid controller, and troops to get in to the throne room, so who knows what lucal arts has waiting for us. I cant wait!!! :bdroid2: TF RULES

Also, there is no fon't in the size command, it is just anyways....there has to be a compromise between balance and accurate in something as precise as Star Wars. Heck, i know alot more about "fake" war technology than i do about real war technology. Anyways, hte balance must remain, but it can't fully do away with accuracy, not in Star Wars at least. Anyways, this is part of what i meant in the last post, but i didn't say it as clearly.
