Storyline of Episode 3...

OK, here it goes... EPISODE 3

 

Obi Wan does not know of Anakins infactuation and marriage to Padme. When he finds out he confronts Anakin telling him that this cannot be, it goes against the code. Anakin infuriated snaps and thinks that it is because Obiwan is in love with Padme. They dual and Anakin falls into a lava pit. Palpatine is aware of this and even had a part in setting up the dual, (secretly) Palpatine\Sidious liftes Anakin's damaged body out of the lava pit, and brings him to Korriban. The home planet of the Sith, where he rebuilds him as Darth Vader and trains him. He tells Anakin that Obiwan is in love with Padme and that that him being trained as a jedi caused his mothers death. Meanwhile Dooku learns of this and confronts his master, Anakin\Vader easily destroys Dooku. Meanwhile Padme is pregnant. Yoda knows of everything now, Obi wan, Yoda, Mace Windu and all the rest of the Jedi move to confront Sidios and Vader. A giant battle scene occurs between the Sith and the Jedi, Most of the jedi are killed in this battle including Mace Windu. Obi Wan and Yoda escape narrowly, with Padme. Anakin\Vader who now truly believes that the Jedi have ruined his life and taken everything be cares about from him begins the "Jedi Purges" where he moves to destroy all jedi.

 

With the help of Boba Fett Anakin finds the hiding place of Obiwan and Padme which is Dagobah. Vader arrives and confronts Obi Wan again. (meanwhile Yoda is on Alderaan consulting Bail Organa to form a resistance to the Republic) (IE: the beginning to the rebellion) The battle betweed Vader and Obiwan on Dagobah is fierce, Obi wan defeats Vader again. Padme discusted with Anakin\Vader tells him that she hates him and that she actually is in love with Obi Wan. They depart leaving Anakin\Vader lying there mortally wounded physically and mentally. Vader with his mechanical knowledge repairs himself with parts from his Tie Advanced fighter, returns to his master and never returns to Dagabah again. Padme has Luke and Leia, Luke is brought to Tatooine to the place where he knows Anakin\Vader will never return (because of his mothers death). Leia is brought by Yoda and Padme to Bail Organa on Alderaan. Yoda goes to Dagobah, (he knows he will be safe there because that is where Padme told Anakin\Vader that she does not love him and hates him) Vader continues his search to destroy the Jedi for they have heart him terribly. He finds Padme and captures her, he then tries to win her love back, Padme discusted with now Vader tells him never, and that she would rather die, Anakin\Vader then kills her out of rage. Then we have EP4

Here are interesting clues I gathered from both TheForce.Net and official site:

 

- It has been passed about 2 to 3 years after AOTC, and Clone Wars will end at the beginning of the film and then becomes very small and personal.

 

- "Armageddon" will take place, and the rocket technology seen in Episode II becomes obsolete.

 

- Mountains and caves around Australia have been touted as possible locations.

 

- According to Lucas, Qui-Gon's voice we heard in AOTC(when Yoda meditates) is really a set-up for the Episode III and "is connected with the whole ability to be brought into and become a part of the Force, but still be able to retain YOUR ability – which, up to this point, Anakin couldn’t do".

 

- There's probably going to be some key characters from original trilogy scheduled to be fit in if Lucas can make it work, "but they are not so integral to the story".

 

- Boba will return(confirmed by Lucas himself), but he’s in a transition period of becoming a bounty hunter and doesn't have any larger role, but according to Rick McCallum, we’ll "understand why he’s so obsessed with destroying any part of the Skywalker family".

 

- Pieces of Darth Vader's armor will be seen on several different characters, and according to Hayden, he has been asked to "put on a little bit of weight or size" just so he can be "wicked with a light sabre".

 

- Yoda's race(and presumably his home world) will be revealed.

 

- We might see one of these planets according to Rick McCallum(I'm betting heavily on first one of them): Alderaan, Corellia or Kessel.

 

- McCallum hinted that they might be casting two Australian children as baby Luke and Leia, and in the press at Skywalker Ranch, Natalie Portman said tapping her belly that she'll "going to be with child".

The Dark Times

 

Opens

Several Victory Star Destroyers Massing over the Planet Tralus, where the dying Confederacy has been sweeping trough the Corrillian system, taking them over, for there reluctance to leave the Republic. A Lambo Shuttle fly’s to one of the Star Destroyer’s Hangers. Admral Tarkin, steps out onto the hanger floor, He is greeted by a General Garm Bel Ipris. They contemplate there statagy, then Tarkin orders the compleat analitaion of the Confederacy’s presents on Tralus. Ipris obeys. Several Landing craft decend tword the planet. Landing they deploy AT-ETs and AT-PTs and 100,000 clone troopers. The battle is the Republic while the Confederacy’s leaders escape in a shuttle distend for Coruscant.

 

Chancellor Palatine is well pleased with the battle in the Corrillian System. He talks with his Cabinet, Padme is in it now. The leaders of the Confederacy arrive on Coruscant, Rendezvousing an old abandon warehouse they meet up with Darth Sidious, who grips all the leaders (minus Count Dooku and the young Boba Fett) to death. Jedi Temple, Yoda and Mace are meditating, they feal the dark side being used, rushing they make up a strike team to send down to where they felt the dark side. This team includes Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Plo Koon, Sacta Ti, Kitsu Fitu, and Adi Gailla, When they arrive they find Count Dooku standing next to Darth Sidious. They talk about there plan and how they have it all worked out. Sidious takes off his hood and reviles his true identity, Chancellor Palatine. Everyone Gasps, they talk to him a little and he shoots them with lighting, knocking them back. Sidious Pulls out his Lightsaber, which is unusual, it’s blade curves near the top. He kills Plo Koon, Sacta Ti, and Kitsu Fitu. Adi Gailla attempts to attack with her blade, but Palatine force pushes out a window and falling thousands of feet to her death. Palpatine puts his hood up and disengages his blade. “I think Darth Tyranus can handle you, I must get back to the Senete, Ha Ha ha ha ha”. He flys off in a hidden speeder just as Anakin gets to him. They turn to Dooku. Anakin Fights him for a while and Finally defets him with a stab straight through the stomach. They rush back to the Senete to warn everone, but they are 2 late, Palatine has proclaimed himself Emperor of the Galactic Empire. Anyone who disagrees is killed, Padme meets with others after the proclamation and descusses it. They agree to form a rebellion agains the Empire, they go back to there planets to gather up an army. Anakin and Obi go to protect Padme. Anakin sleeps with his wife on the way over.

We see a Anakin standing in front of the High Concill, padwan braid still dangling off his left ear. When we hear the familar voice of Mace Windu. " Anakin Skywalker, you have completed your traing under Obi-Wan Kenobi and concluded the trials of the Jedi Order, you are now a jedi knight." Two servants come and remove Anakins praid.

"Ah, young Skywalker a Jedi Knight you are," said the wise leader of the concill(Master Yoda) "but one more trial awaits you must construct a lightsaber of your own."

Fade to Black

We see Padme with child staring out the window at a landing pad when we see a Jedi Star Figther land. The cockpit slowly open and Padme sees Anakin for the first time without his padawan braid. The young couple had been married for three years. Anakin energetily jumps out the Star Ship and runs to the entrance the married couple embrace and there lips meet. "Anakin does the concill know."

"About what."

"About us Anakin, about us."

Fade to black

We see Obi-Wan talking to Yoda, Mace, Plo Kloon and Ki-Adi-Mundi. "Master Yoda something has bothered me for three years Count Dooku said the Senate was controlled by sith and ever since then i could look Cahncoller Papletine eye to eye. You all some of the great Jedi minds of our day have you ever thought on this.''

"Mediated on this I have many times i believe we must confront our Chancoller on this."

"I'll go" said Anakin as wacthed in the shadows not even supposed to there.

"Anakin what are you doing here." said Windu

"I trust Papletine he trusts me."

"Very well." said Mundi Anakin leaves At this moment we see Papletine appear as hologram

"We need more jedis on the battle field the droids have greatly in creaserd in numbers."

"If we must." said an angry Yoda who senced Papletine knew of their conversation. "Trust the chancellor we can no more it seems he is the corupt one."

"oh no Anakin!" said Obi-Wan.

Fade to black

Anakin has arived at Papletine's house Anakin entered. "Ah young anakin what brings you here." said Papletine.

"The Jedis sent me we have resone to believe you lead the, the Sith.

"Why thats absurd Anakin Count Dooku is the only sith in the galaxy. I asure you that. Actually i have a mission for you go to the lava world of SAigma Vulcancas there are crystralls there that i believe you can make excellent lightsabers out of make one our son perhaps." Anakin didn't notice he knew about him and Padme so he acepted the mission.

Fade to black

The Jedi arrive on the Papletine's battlefield to see all the clones dead and all the droids in peiceswhen a giant cortosis net spans over them. Unable to escape the jedi are defenceless.

But to do that goes against the common belief that Qui-Gon's Living Force way of life doesn't allow for the return to a spirit form. It seems as if the Unifying Force - that Yoda and Mace use, allows them to return as a spirit.

 

There are many things that we hope will be in Episode 3 - most of it is the battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan and the end of that duel listed in the novel of Return of the Jedi.
