elTee
Every time someone posts a thread about games collections, I always say that I have a list but I can't find it - well, I found it. I'd just like to know what I have missing from my adventure game collection - some of you (QueZTone, Benwhatshisname etc.) will spot glaring ommisions from this list. To my knowledge, I need: DISCWORLD DISCWORLD II LEGEND OF KYRANDIA PART 1 LEGEND OF KYRANDIA PART 3 LITTLE BIG ADVENTURE But what else?? Now, I would prefer to get them in their original boxes, but really its only the LucasArts ones that I HAVE to have in original boxes. Maybe over time I'll upgrade my collection so that those in re-release boxes are replaced by original releases, we'll see. I have let quite a few slip through my fingers over the years - most annoyingly, Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars and Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsens Oddyssey. Both times my uncle "borrowed" them, and the boxes were lost. Never mind, I got a few games off him when he wasn't watching (Grim Fandango, I have no mouth and I must Scream.) All's fair in love and war, I guess. Well, here's the list: LUCASARTS: MANIAC MANSION (ORIGINAL BOXED, LUCASARTS RE-RELEASE) ZAK MCKRACKEN (ORIGINAL BOXED, KIXX BOXED RE-RELEASE, LUCASARTS RE-RELEASE) INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE (ORIGINAL BOXED, LUCASARTS RE-RELEASE) INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE: THE ACTION VERSION (ORIGINAL BOXED) LOOM (ORIGINAL BOXED FLOPPY DISK, LUCASARTS RE-RELEASE FLOPPY DISK) THE SECRET OF MONKEY ISLAND (ORIGINAL BOXED FLOPPY DISK, BOUNTY PACK CD-ROM) MONKEY ISLAND 2: LECHUCKS REVENGE (ORIGINAL BOXED FLOPPY DISK, BOUNTY PACK CD-ROM) INDIANA JONES AND THE FATE OF ATLANTIS (ORIGINAL BOXED FLOPPY DISK, JEWEL CASE CD-ROM) INDIANA JONES AND THE FATE OF ATLANTIS: THE ACTION VERSION (ORIGINAL BOXED) DAY OF THE TENTACLE (ORIGINAL BOXED FLOPPY DISK, WHITE LABEL BOXED RE-RELEASE CD-ROM) SAM N MAX HIT THE ROAD (ORIGINAL BOXED CD-ROM) FULL THROTTLE (ORIGINAL BOXED) THE DIG (ORIGINAL BOXED) THE CURSE OF MONKEY ISLAND (ORIGINAL BOXED, BOUNTY PACK) GRIM FANDANGO (ORIGINAL BOXED) ESCAPE FROM MONKEY ISLAND (ORIGINAL BOXED) SIERRA ON-LINE: KINGS QUEST VI (ORIGINAL BOXED CD-ROM) KINGS QUEST COLLECTORS EDITION: GAMES I-VI (ORIGINAL BOXED COMPILATION CD-ROM) POLICE QUEST 1-4/SWAT (ORIGINAL BOXED COMPILATION CD-ROM) SPACE QUEST 1-5 (ORIGINAL BOXED COLLECTORS COMPILATION CD-ROM) SPACE QUEST 4 (JEWEL CASE RE-RELEASE CD-ROM) REVOLUTION: LURE OF THE TEMPTRESS (BOXED RE-RELEASE CD-ROM) BENEATH A STEEL SKY (CD CASE CD-ROM) BROKEN SWORD: THE SHADOW OF THE TEMPLARS (DVD CASE RE-RELEASE) BROKEN SWORD 2: THE SMOKING MIRROR (ORIGINAL BOXED, DVD CASE RE-RELEASE) OTHERS: THE HAND OF FATE: KYRANDIA 2 (JEWEL CASE CD-ROM) THE FLIGHT OF THE AMAZON QUEEN (ORIGINAL BOXED CD-ROM) NORMALITY (ORIGINAL BOXED) I HAVE NO MOUTH AND I MUST SCREAM (ORIGINAL JEWEL CASE CD-ROM) SIMON THE SORCERER (ORIGINAL BOXED CD-ROM) SIMON THE SORCERER 2 (ORIGINAL BOXED CD-ROM) SIMON THE SORCERER 3 (ORIGINAL DVD CASE CD-ROM) TOONSTRUCK (JEWEL CASE RE-RELEASE) LITTLE BIG ADVENTURE 2: TWINSENS ODDYSSEY (BOXED RE-RELEASE) DISCWORLD NOIR (DVD CASE RE-RELEASE) THE LONGEST JOURNEY (DVD CASE RE-RELEASE) BLADE RUNNER (BOXED RE-RELEASE) MYSTERY OF THE DRUIDS (ORIGINAL RELEASE DVD CASE)

scabb
Worked your ass off? There are people in third world countries starving to death! And they don't even have asses! How do you think they feel where you're sat there with your rare collection of obsessively boxed adventures in mint condition? I'll tell you how they feel. They feel that you should donate all your adventuregames to me, and stop being selfish. And PTDC, I have a job. Okay, I don't, but that's not the point. And don't take everything so seriously GuybrushGuy!

The Adventurer
I noticed the compleat and utter lack of the Graphic Zork games Return to Zork Zork Nemises Zork Grand Inquisitor RtZ and ZGI are quite funny. and ZN is acualy a fun dark/horror mistery. elTee
Oh God, not those as well..... Ok, I have Zork Nemesis. I hate it. I hate all games where its just pre-rendered, and no character to control. Its faceless, and I can't get into it. My dad likes em though. So I have a few of this genre. That frankenstein one with Tim Curry. Lost Eden. Yada yada yada.

That frankenstein one with Tim Curry. Lost Eden. Yada yada yada. I highly disagree. At least play ZGI, I put it in the same tier as DOtT and S&M. Nemisis was not the best game in the world when compared to Lucasart Adventures and Return to Zork was very confussing and also is not in the same catagory. But ZGI, with its witty dioloage, compeling puzzles, and wonderful atmosphere makes it a definat must play. That and it stars Dirk Benedick from A-Team and BattleStar Galatica....er...fame as Antharia Jake posably the greatest adventure game charicter ever.
