It takes about two shots to kill a person. (Or Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the explosives weren't aimed at me properly in that game) Also, it is blockable, you just need jedi reflexes I blocked them before, you just need to block them while they are in the air; and be very quick doing it. Again, this can be blocked while in the air. And again, the rocket launcher is blockable, you just have to force push the rocket while its coming toward you. Aoshi Posted August 22, 2002 Share Posted August 22, 2002 i'm not talking about being able to push things away because you can push ANYTHING (except disruptor fire) away and you bringing up that point is just plain stupid. also i'm talking about when you first are spawned and have 100/25 and i know for a fact that the flechette is an instant kill at 100/25 because on bespin i've been killed like that many a time. Aoshi Posted August 22, 2002 Share Posted August 22, 2002 oh yah one thing i have discovered that i was in error in though was the imperial repeater secondary fire. i found out that a direct hit does exactly 30 damage so it would take 5 hits to kill someone with 100/25. Well I was talking about full sheilds. ...but guns>sabers period... Quoted by another person: ....if you only use one or two of the attacks available to you in the game ie the saber + force you .... hyk Posted August 28, 2002 Share Posted August 28, 2002 As was said in the previous, lightsabers are not an ultimate, all purpose weapon. It's only useful as a weapon if you are in some proximity to the gunner, but remember as you are trying to slash at him you are leaving yourself vulnerable and unable to block incoming shots. If you try to DFA the guy the rapid fire of the repeater will probably kill you before you even get off the ground. If you are 50 yards from the gunner there is no way a lightsaber will kill him or her (well unless you throw it maybe). So it is best to just go guns v. guns and saber v, saber (but it's always nice to get a kill because the shot's are reflected back by your saber and killing the gunner), although the saber will be useful in blocking most of incoming shots of primary fires of most of the gun types. PULL OUT YOUR OWN GUN also if by some bizarre twist of fate u happen to get close enuf to em... PULL PULL PULL lol... kinda newbish but it works...
