teutonicknight
Ok... that was weird.. I posted a new thread and no text came up.... Here is my problem: When I try to compile my map into a .bsp, the DOS window pops up then says its finish, but there is no it could finish in 2 seconds. Here is the dos window: http://teutonicknight.freeservers.com/finishedwindow.jpg Then, when i look into my Maps folder, the bsp is not there, the is only a .map and a .bak of my map Whats wrong? Spoon_Gouge
Read your junk.txt file (probably in yourc:\documents and Setting\yourname\local settings\temp -oops thats in XP!, anyway under your user\temp directory) and read up on the mirad of errors reporting which bugs to look for. I thought I had a shorcut here but don't, sorry. Anyway the last time I say this problem it was due to an error in construction. Spoon_Gouge
Here's a great spot for radient errors that you MAY find in your Junk.txt file that's made when you compile. Originally posted by Monsoontide Radient Eroors link Spoon_Gouge

teutonicknight
If it helps: The program I'm using is JK2Radiant Map Editor, and map is a MP map. I made a dummy map to see if it effected other maps too, and it doesn't compile anymap I make. My system Specs are: P3 600 Mhz 256 MB SD RAM 32 MB NVIDA RIVA TNT2 (Yes, I know, crappy computer ) Does anybody know my problem???? Please help! It would be a shame to never release my map becasue I can't compile it
Gustaf777
HUm ! Maybe you must save your map at C:/program/lucasarts/starwarsjediknightII/gamedata/base/maps It worked for me!
Darth_Linux
it looks like your command line arguments aren't getting passed to sof2map because whenever an app gives you all of it's possible options (like it's doing in your screenie) it is saying "I don't know what you want me to do" so perhaps you didn't specify a map file, or you didn't specify whether to "-bsp" or "-vis" or whatever . . . keep trying! RichDiesal
That usually means Radiant was installed to the incorrect location or paths are incorrect. And you MUST save your map to the default path it gives you (assuming your entity paths are correct).
