this aint a fair poll, you're comparing two campaigns against 6.

I'll answer it this way; I WOULD prefer playing all the campaigns (both games) using the clone campaign upgrades, but unfortunately a number of the older campaigns haven't been modified to compensate for the CC changes. One of the most obvious being that if airbases aren't available, but tech 4 fortresses are, then you can launch and air assault with air cruisers and the computer will do nothing to counter it (not even build AA troops). Alternately, the Rebel Hoth mission is now a royal pain because the massed AT-ATs can now attack air AND they still have AA Artillery besides, which amounts to a bunch of dead speeders.

 

Besides this, I had a number of problems with the opponent doing ANYTHING (building units namely) in a number of the old campaigns after adding the expansion pack. After killing of the initial enemy units, there was nothing else to fight... just a matter of destroying buildings.

 

As a result, I prefer playing the old campaigns without the CC upgrade...
