changing the default map selected by "New Game"

Hi

 

In a single player MOD, where do you change the value of the map name that loads when you select "New Game"? Kejim Post always loads up even though that map isn't part of the MOD at all. I need the game to load "secbase" instead as the default first map when a player chooses a new game.

You have to load the MOD through the Setup screen THEN make a new game.

I think he means how do you set up a mod to load your map, rather than the default... I'd like to know that, too... but that goes in the modding forum, dude.

Its for saber colours but it helps you get an idea.

 

Also download the "Tavion" single player level.

Check out the file structure and you should be able to tell how to do it like that.

well this almost worked . . . i get the console error:

 

unknown UI script exec

 

maybe exec is a commandline command only and can't be used ingame?

 

I'll try someother things though - thanks much for the tips!

that method works fine, you probably didnt fully replace the line
