keo718
I am beta testing a level 4 Force power mod by Darth Syrup(an excellent Mod by the way) and have noticed some problems. He needs help in order to finish this mod, and I knew this was the best place to come. Below I have listed the errors. This mod uses Jedimod 1.2 as its base. Please help. I can send you the mod so you can take a look at the code, to decipher the nature of these errors, or I can post whatever info you need to see. Thanks in advance. The Errors: -Model Scaling does not work on occasion. -When using custom hilts the player shakes violently up and down(No shaking without custom hilts). -the error "Info String Length Exceeded" displays upon useage of many cvars. -MP crashes to windows when trying to use many custom Maps, especially in Duel. -During FFA play displaying the scores does not work, the message "bad score" <client #> comes up. keo718
Thanks for responding Dest. What kind of memory error are you referring to? Would you need to see the coding to determine that?
Azymn
Thanks for posting keo, i was away this weekend. Dest, is there a cvar limit in game? Anyone ever have a problem with setting cvars that require float values with integers (i.e. "set f_somecvar 5" crashes the game while "set f_somecvar 5.0" does not)? Also, does anyone know a reliable way to set ui_cvars and their game_cvar counterparts to the correct values while in game in both directions? Edit: That is, setting a cvar from the console in game will change a cvar needed in ui to match, and vice versa.
