Elevators?

i'm very new at this, so forgive me for my troubling you. I am trying to make a level. i have an elevator set up. it rises to the right height and falls to hte right height. the problem is if you are at the top it won't rise up to picl you up. do i neeed a switch or a tigger or something? and how do i set the tim ebeofre it gose back down?

Press F1 in you editor and find "func_platform" or Func_ and read what it tells you. that shoudl give you an idea. or try a write a better question I cannot understand what you are asking?
