BUT what if i want to have a wind noise in a VAST area, were talking large. Kengo Posted September 16, 2002 Share Posted September 16, 2002 Just putting loads down seems to do the trick, youve actually got to be careful or it ends up too loud, even in a large area! Putting them in groups together seems a good idea, you could just place them evenly over the area, select them all, them duplicate a few times, something like that. Can you get the sound to do a trail effect as well? lets say i want two slow flying TIES going across the sky in a cutscene. monsoontide Posted September 19, 2002 Share Posted September 19, 2002 You could have a trigger target a speaker with the appropriate sound - however, as you can't make them move and func_trains don't make any noise it may be difficult if not impossible to get what you want easily. i.e. - it's fairly easy to get this effect in SP but not in MP.
