im trying to connect with a buddy of mine and we can see each others servers and pings and what not. but when i tried to do his i got a protocol 15 error. and when he tried mine he gest a protocol 16 error. i read that is because we are running 2 different mods. well he didnt have a mod at all and i have jedimod1.2. so he put 1.2 on his but when he tries to start up the game in that mod or tries to load it while in the game he gets a white screen and it wont work. i am running xp..hes on 2000...is 2000 the problem?

you have different versions to eachother, 1 has 1.03 the other has 1.04

yes tell him to get the 1.4 update patch.

 

or you could reinstall and get the 1.3 patch but whatever's easier.

You will both need to have the same version to hook up.

 

I.E. you both need 1.04 or 1.03 or 1.02
