Absurd Posted September 17, 2002 Author Share Posted September 17, 2002 Yah, the Unreal engine (UT2K3) needs a Quake 3 / JK 2 /com_maxfps type command. It'll allow a person to cap their frame rate so as to avoid fluctuation. You run benchmarks and find the avg then cap about 10-15 below that average and your FPS is always stable. It's variation that causes problems because the FPS changes and so does your ability to move the mouse (fps and mouse refresh are directly linked) and react. Anyhow ...
