Flying

Hi every1,

 

 

I'm a newb at modding, but not a newb at programming. However I've got a real problem that I need help with. Even directing me to some tutorial would help with this one.

 

Here's the problem: I'm trying to make it so you can fly around in the game, just like you would in spectator mode. AND I was hoping to be able to turn the capability to fly on/off as a switch.

 

I've seen other mods do it on TFC, and I've gotten to the point where you can fly, but your speed is so ludicrous that you could never control it.

 

Please reply ASAP.

there is a jetpack mod out already.

yes, but that jetpack has it's source released

All you would have to do is alter the source to exclude the animations and sounds, and it would be the exact same thing.
