Altus_Thrawn
I don't know what size to make my map...I know what I want to do, but it is on water, and I don't know how big to make the tub. As in 1000*1000. What I want is a cruise ship circling an island in the middle about the size of duel_training. I want the cruise ship to have a casino, bar, a couple small bedrooms, a meeting room, and a bridge. No this is not a map request I just don't know how big I need to make the tub to hold all that. idontlikegeorge
and you want to be able to go on the ship AND the island? AND you want the ship to physically CIRCLE the island?
Altus_Thrawn
Uh...ya. Couldn't I just do a func_train?
Leslie Judge
Since func_train is an entity and entities don't block the VIS I'm not sure it will be a good idea, cause you don't want the game to render nearly the whole map in every moment. Altus_Thrawn
Ok, cut the moving, but if I still had the ship still and the island, what size should the base of the map be?
The Truthful Liar
It depends on how you large you want the map to ultimately be. Just start working on the island and maybe you'll get an accurate idea later on. Don't worry there isn't a limit for map size, see how it goes.
