Tiduz Posted October 20, 2002 Posted October 20, 2002 I'm trying to unban a player from my server but there are no files indicating that unbanning is even possible. I'm running a Linux Dedicated server and I need help on this... The guy that's wanting to get unbanned is pretty impatient but take your time I appreciate it!
Datheus Posted October 22, 2002 Posted October 22, 2002 Isn't there a cvar like.. g_banIP or sv_banIP ? I think if you were to remove the IP from that cvar, it would work, but I don't know for sure, it's a place to start
Sith Maximus Posted October 24, 2002 Posted October 24, 2002 All you have to d o is go into your jk2mpcfg file and look for the string of ip address that youhave banned and remove the one that you wish to return access to. If you have a seperate ban cfg then do it in there.
Crybos Posted October 24, 2002 Posted October 24, 2002 There is an rcon command you can use to ban the person by IP Address. You can list the banned IP address on your server by typing this in rcon: g_banips That will list the IP Address for you to ban. I believe, to unban a person, you'd type in rcon: removeip <ip-mask> To add an IP to the ban list: addip <ip-mask>
