Hahaha... I'm quite surprised that I was able to understand the stuff that cjais and others wrote. Never really tried to _read_ Danish before.

 

As I once said:

 

I speak fluent Swedish. If I'm a bit drunk and put a potatoe in my mouth, I speak pretty fluent Norwegian. But Danish...well: I need a lot more beer and two more potatoes.

Me being from Finland and complaining about other languages...lol...thank god basicly no-one here knows what kind of gibberish I talk all day long!

 

Hmm...think we should annoy the "Deutch" a bit too.

 

I've studied German for a while. It was interesting..we had to keep a short brake after every ten minutes or so, though... time for the cleaning lady to wipe the classroom floor clean of saliva....lots of saliva flying around those days...

 

Seriously.. most words are spelled consonant + consonant + consonant + consonant + consonant + consonant + consonant + vowel +consonant + consonant + consonant + consonant.

 

Take a really simple word like "abortion", for example:

 

Schwangerschaftsunterbrechung!

 

...I sure wouldn't want to be face to face with anyone who tries to articulate that. Lol....
