Eldritch Posted October 21, 2002 Posted October 21, 2002 Not sure if this is the place to post it, but I figured that most people that skin would be fairly handy with textures as well... i've started a Hogwarts (Big castle from Harry Potter) map but need new textures and i'm not good at creating them. Anyone interested in helping can check out the website here, leave a message on the thread in the Mapping Forum or can contact me with a PM. I'd offer help if I could, I just have many other project I want to work on. Maybe when you get it more layed out I'll have freed up some of my workload and can pitch in. I'll do map object models, as well as shader work. I can help with textures too.

OT2K Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 How about getting the Harry potter game somewhere? This game has lots of useful textures for you. It´s Based on the Unreal engine, so you surely can extract the textures with the UNREAL-EDITOR . This shouldn´t be very difficult. Greets

Eldritch Posted November 7, 2002 Author Posted November 7, 2002 I've already done that. I've had to edit them heavily though to get them in the map and also to avoid a legal issue. You can't just rip textures straight from one game and put them in another.
