Need help in GMAX

I cant change the views, i want to zoom in a see all the sides in a 3d view, instead of a 2D grid!!! I am a real

when you start up gmax, youll see 4 view modes. 3 of them will be grids and the 4th will be a perspective view. click anywhere in the perspective view and itll highlight the surrounding square, press W to maximize it. i hope you have a wheel mouse, because i think its the easiest way to pan around.

 

to pan around- hold alt and the wheel button on the mouse and move the mouse around.

to zoom #1- scroll with the wheel on the mouse

to zoom #2 (more control)- hold ctrl, alt and the wheel button on the mouse and move the mouse up or down

 

also, to view a list of options for the view mode, left-click on the word in the top left corner of the view youre in (like Perspective or Top)

right click on where it says top, right etc in the window. choose perpective and select your whole model. use rotate to see all sides!
