Zygomaticus Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 fellowship of the ring for PC? i didn't even notice it existed...gamespot gave it a 5.7 saying only true tolkien enthusiasts will enjoy it...i'm one so i'm wondering if it's any good... have any of you guys played it? if so, whadya think??
Silenthunter Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 I havn't had the chance to play it, but I think it looks cool (Of course, I'm a Tolkien enthusiast ) I actually d/led the demo today but my comp doesn't have a good enough vid card to play the game.
Zygomaticus Posted October 29, 2002 Author Posted October 29, 2002 ooooh, didn't know there was a demo! now i do...*begins download* 2 mb out of 131... *goes off to see empire strikes back till it gets downloaded* the screens look really cool, but i really get the impression that this is to lotr what the PC game phantom menace was to Starwars...probably a rip straight out of the movie... but then again, i couldn't expect them to come up with another 'original lotr side-story', so i guess it will be that...
Young David Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 I've read about a FotR game with the book licence ... Little different art than the movie and ... Tom Bombadil, Goldberry, The Barrow downs, Old men Willow ... Butthe movie version doesn't 'really get my attention.
