Tiletron Posted November 1, 2002 Share Posted November 1, 2002 This post is directed towards any new users of 'Star Wars: Jedi Oucast', who are running it on the Windows 2000 operating system. Not fully known to the majority, the "Windows 2000 Compatibility" system DOES NOT WORK with 'Star Wars: Jedi Outcast', Nor does it work correctly with Patch 1.02, as althought this patch does run on all other operating systems, it has not been configured to run under Windows 2000. In fact, Jedi Outcast only works with the original game unpatched, or with Patch 1.04 - do not attempt to use the Compatibility settings that can be adjusted by right-clicking the shortcut, and going to the 'Properties' tab. It will only cause errors with your refresh rate, or prevent the game loading at all. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darth Kaan Posted November 4, 2002 Share Posted November 4, 2002 Bullchit. I have run it since it came out on Win 2k pro through 1.02, 1,03 and 1.04, used the server software and played all the mods.
