ASk Posted November 2, 2002 Share Posted November 2, 2002 a) as a rule, software companies do not even bother to look at the petitions from 2 reasons: - there are things that are a legal barrier on their way to release the code - signatures are VERY easy to forge b) As it seems, you haven't listened to the main reason for lack of SP code: MP code is in abstract dlls/qvm's that get executed by the game exe. To the contrary, the SP code is within the SP exe. Thus it can't be distributed without distributing the engine code as well, which can't be done since the engine is copyrighted by iD. c) Even if it was possible, this is not the board for this post.
