liquidsnake
Hey. I've just started skinning and I think I'm onto a good thing here. I'd like to know if there is a FREE editor that allows me view my model. I also want to be able to pose my model so that I can take screen shots for the icon. My MilkShape 3D 30 day grace period has ended, so now that doesn't work. I just got G Max, but I can't figure that thing out! Does anybody know of another FREE editor that I can use to view my skin? OR Can I view/pose my model in G Max? If so, how? I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks.

Hekx
Is it possible to voom in on the face in ModView? I can mostly just rotate and voom into the middle of the model. I haven't been able to use ModView to take any icons for MP skins, is that what most skinners use?
Twisted Vertex
Get the program Deep exploration, from Right Hemisphere. This is a pretty cool that application that allows you to load your file format (this app supports thousands), and add a jpg, that automatically updates upon a save.
