Nothing much but when you want to select one side of a brush to texture, press shift+ctrl and click it, you cannot click multiples though, too bad, oh yeah i'f you would like I can explain how to make easy rocks too, they look pretty realistic... heh, heh...:jawa

Ok ... um, to select multiple faces, try CTRL -ALT -SHIFT clicking faces - at least, that's how I do it in GTKRadiant.

I'm curious about your rock making - do you sculpt-rotate-repeat?

lol, didnt see the ALT coming, heh, heh, well my rock making concept is pretty easy, make a brush at any size, then clip one corner(X) then press V and move the green dots around, heh, heh, you should modify the original position of all the dots in all of the, eh, blueprint looking screen? lol, that is how I am making my new JK2 map right now, releastic terrain too, you can also make a ground brush, go to simple patch mesh, select 15 for both(or is it 13?) press V, then move the dots in the "camera" veiw, go up and down at different areas for some nice releastic hilly terrain, put water under the patch mesh to add puddles or even lakes, hope that helps, I got some more interesting tips I think... I think I should make a webpage on this stuff...

EDIT Oh yeah, apply caulk to every unused brush to increase the FPS, heh...

There are plenty of useful tips in the threads at the top of this forum page.

And some of his tips are incorrect, or make no sense - you don't apply caulk to every unused brush - you apply caulk to every face of a brush that the players will never see. There's a big difference...

If you have any future tips, please put them in one of the stuck threads for that type of thing at the top of this forum.
