Pseudonym
I tried to uninstall Jedi Knight II, but for some reason it didn't take. So I deleted the whole folder. However, it still says I have it installed on my system and when I try to remove it using the add/remove prog it doesn't do anything. When I put the CD in it has the normal selections as if it was installed, and I even tried going into to the CD and install it manually with no luck. Can anyone help me? I've been playing CS and Natural-Selection(which is really good btw) for the pass month because I don't know how to fix this without doing a system restore and I really don't want to do that. And now Valve is having problems with their network, so I feel like playing JK2 to pass the time but I can't.
Hekx
There might be some JK2 values in the registry still left there. Get a registry cleaner, I suggest RegCleaner Backup your registry first before using this, maybe make a restore point too. I just tried to find the command to remove it from my JK2 installation, but it doesn't appear under the add / remove and still works Damn thing. Ah well, try the above, then reinstall JK2 into the default directory. If that doesn't work, try a different directory. I might download the Natural Selection mod sometime soon and test it out
Pseudonym
Thank you, bother. That did just the trick. Plus I got rid of some other frivolous programs while I was at it. Yes, you should download NS asap. It's quite amazing for being run off a 4y/o engine.
