Doubleplus GC
Anyone else managed to get ahold of Half Life: Blue Shift? I am quite glad I did not pay for this. The entire game is about twice the length of the training mission. very good, mind you, but the PCG user-made mods are of comparable size and one infinitieth the price. Worth getting if you borrowed it from a friend, the graphical expansion pack is possibly worth it all. Kinda lame that they included OpFor with it, since any real HL freak already has it. Always nice workin' alongside Barney and Otis.
C Shutt
I've had Blue Shift for over a year now, and I still haven't played it.
scabb
Apparently they're working on a Counter-Strike one-player mod, and it's going to be retail. And this is 5 years after Half-Life. Still, it will be nice to play Counter-Strike against intelligent opponents.
Alien426
It's worse with Gunman Chronicles. That was a full price game and I played through it in one day. Blue Shift was at least longer than OpFor. The They Hunger trilogy is pure genious. I last played Poke 646 and liked it very much. Doubleplus GC
Blue Shift is longer than OpFor? As if! OpFor is about 1/2 the length of HL, and Blue Shift isn't more than 1/3 of OpFor. Methinks there was a typo. Blue shift also had a couple of frustrating puzzles, like times where you can't find the ladder you need to climb because there's no light near it. Walked by it a good 30 tiems before I saw it.
