Artamir
Hey, I've been having trouble with JKIIMP. After 10 to 2 minutes of running, it just locks up and turns into a sound loop. :\ I have a Creative AudioPCI sound card. My video card is an NVidia TNT2 with the latest Detonator drivers. I have the 1.04 patch. I tried un-installing and re-installing everything, patching to 1.03 and then 1.04, and it still doesn't work. :\ EAX is turned off by default too. I'm running Windows 2000 Pro. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Zeke2k1
try reading this other post... http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83993 considering you have a Creative Sound card you may be encountering the same problem others are. This problem may not just be limited to Audigy Series cards but all Creative Labs brand sound cards. TRY DISABLING ADVANCED EAX. thats my only suggestion. Artamir
Hey, I did see this other post before posting this. EAX is turned off and I even tried lowering the sound quality, but I have the same problem again. :\
teleguy
Maybe the lockup is not sound related. You can test that by disabling ( not removing ! ) your soundcard in the device manager.

Sith Maximus
What are your game detail settings on? Your tnt is a bit old to play jk2. I have one on my office computer and it will lockup in just a few minutes. As for home my TI200 cuts through it at 150fps in 1024x768 with max detail. Try to lower your video settings all of the way to the default level and then try it. If you are online when this happens you may need to run a line check from http://www.dslreports.com to see if you are having line problems. Artamir
I tried playing it with the default settings, and it still locks up. I tried while connected and while offline. I've been thinking about getting a new video card...I guess it'll go faster than I thought. -_-
