Wow tenting on the street for 3 days lets him sell them to you for $185 more each? Not only is it illegal here but just a rip off. Seriously. No offense, but you could've done better.

ally, i love LOTR, but i won't pay $200 for a ticket to it

i'd rather wait, it's only a few days. that's as bad as american people flying to australia to see SWII 12 hours earlier, it's insane.

hehehehehe I saw StarWars on the Friday and Saturday it came out was so much fun, especially as the cinema goes dark and the 20th centuart fox thingie comes on, and those few seconds where everyone is waiting for the StarWars music, and as it starts up and you see the words on the screen, the cheers and clapping was great :D Oh and then Yoda- well thats another story ;)

Maybe so, but I paid 45$ for all 3 tickets, casue it's a special feeling to go with youre friends in the middle of the premier night of "The Teo Towers" isn't it?

I wouldn't pay twice the price for tickets just to go to the first showing at my local cinema, no matter what the movie. Unless it was a movie based on a LucasArts game or the Deus Ex movie (out in 2005!)

not me, even if the movie was based on monkey island, if i can't go on the day it comes out, i'll go as soon as i can. that's true for the two towers as well, i probably won't be able to go on the day it come out, but i will see it pretty early because i want to see it, but at a normal price (£5.50) and not ten quid more or whatever your paying.

No, a lot more than that on SW and LOTR screenings.
