Because JKII is a big resource hog, so when you load up the game, it takes twice the resources because you are having to send your own data to your dedicated server. See what I mean? Andy867 Posted December 10, 2002 Share Posted December 10, 2002 what you can do is if you are using JK2DED, once you start that up, open up the task manager by pushing CTRL-ALT-DEL together, and then right-click JK2DED.EXE once, and there should be an option to set priority, select high for JK2DED and leave JK2MP.exe at normal.
