Single Player vs. Multi Player

I am quite new playing this game since I own a Mac and the game is released just few weeks ago for mac, I LOVED the game and I finished it 2 times already, what I most like is the lightsaber dueling and I finished the game in Master level just to do those saber duels in the Jedi Academy, it's great fun to have 4 reborns and 2 shadow troopers vs. myself and a jedi, but the problem is, in multiplayer, lightsaber duels in not even half as fun as single player ones. The movements, the waves of saber, everything feels different and less fun, is there a way to make the multiplayer the same as single player? For example it's impossible to knock down the opponent in multiplayer, they just flow backwards but hardly ever fall down, but in single player it's great to knock down the enemy or they knock down you. I can't list every difference right now because I didn't analyse them in detail but you must have felt that multi and single are different in that sense.

Well multi saber fighting used to be more like single tell they patched the game like crazy......and I doubt any mods help this.....
