Units listed in editer lists......

But not in the game either campigne or normal.

One of them that should have been in the game is the B-wing...but um a problem with the B-wing is how to set it up in the engine to be balenced and maintain it's own specs (which the TIE-Defender failed at, as in it has shields). The B-wing has both kinds of blaster's which that cause's a problem as in how to tell the engine to have one unit fire both, easiest way is to alternat between. (current specs for B-wing is 20/0/4..green blaster)

Still bafels me is the 5 AT-AT's fitting into a Trooper lander:/

I don't mind a little off balence for more realizum...but if players build and stick with what the civ is best with you can see an unbalence.

Points like this....HDD or DTP2 vs any mech size smaller ground unit is just cruel punisment (except jedi).

As well as units which receive the upgrade bonus of two unit types....DD, DT, and JSF being a couple, these units once alot is resourced they can do some remarkable things.

Well a few things.

News on these units...

1: Are they units that got left in the game engine?

2: Units intended to be used but never did?

3: Units only useable in custom single player scenarios?

4: Any way to add these units to build list's so you can build them and not just have an X amount placed?

Questions should have been obveous.

Right...

Right... if you're going to be an ass, and insult people who are trying to help you out, you can at least spell "obvious" right.

1: Keep reading...

2: Keep reading...

3: Yes, this also answers 1 and 2.

4: Yes... but only in a scenario. You need to create an enable unit trigger, and it will replace a buildable object in that units building of choice (for example, making Vader an enabled unit would let you build Vader from a Sith temple... most likely replacing the Sith Apprentice). However, I don't think you can enable to only build X amount. But I could be wrong.

You're welcome...

I just realized that not even half of the heroes can be enable. you can't even enable Ewoks or bounties. You also cannot enable UU heroes(like wedge antilles in his snowspeeder). It's really quite stupid. The only thing that worked and made sense is the B-Wing. It doesn't replace anything it's simply added. Others make no sense in what they replace. Like Emperor Palpatine replaces the Sith knight instead of the sith master! And Mara Jade replaces the Air Cruiser!!!!!

I've used Jade, but mostly because she's one of my favourite characters (from the books). Even though I don't really like the voice they used. Or the picture.

Oh well, one can't have everything....

Luke's dad, I am sorry to say that this thread is beyond salvation. Let us have some time to mourn its death, as befits such a wonderful thread.

..................

That seems to be long enough. Come on, get that corpse out of here!
