The fact-finding game

ok i know it's another game, but i was laying in the bath and this one just came to me.

 

The idea is, I will put 3 fives characters from star wars, then you have to go and find the most interesting fact you can, either about the character or the actor that played them.

 

i.e obi-wan - in real life ewan's uncle is the man that played wedge

 

ok i know that's a pretty well known fact but it is just an example, i expect you to do a lot better.

i will later judge the entries and will decide the winner, he/she will then post another 3 names and will judge the entries for them.

edit: you need one fact for each of the three and you cannot duplicate facts, if someone has already posted a fact you can't post the same, unless you include information that wasn’t used

Dennis Lawson (Wedge Antilles) is Ewan Mcgregors uncle?? Kewl ass... didn't know that.

 

Do the fact's have to be based strictly on real life? Or can it be from back stage or movie based facts as well??

it can be on the character or the actor, as long as it's interesting and not well-known.... or made up

Chewbacca - won the lifetime achievement award on the MTV music awards. He was also on an episode of the muppet show with a lot of other star wars characters.

 

He was played by Peter Mayhew, whom I meet at the premer of AotC on the Imax screens and he is really huge and tall

 

His voice was made of a combination of animails including walruses, camels, bears and badgers.

Oh, my bad. I thought you just choose one then you get 5 responses and choose the best out of those 5. I will look at the others later. I knew that stuff about chewie, I dont know why, but I did.

anyway i have changed it to three,

 

so you need a fact for boba fett, han and chewie

 

you and Hyperglide each have one fact so you both need to get a fact for the other two

Eh, well ya I noticed you reply Sivy B, when I had already made my post. When the screen was refreshed what you had mentioned to Wolfman, regarding the fact's for ALL 5 of them. You rescinded it to 3, however finding 3-5 facts (good ones) for each character is very time consuming, and people don't want to spend their (most people) free time doing that. I think it would be wiser if you let each person find one REALLY good fact for each of those characters, then when each character has sufficient facts, then move onto another set of characters to be analyzed, next.

I obviously haven’t explained this very well so I’ll do it to show you

 

Han –Han Solo first appeared in the rough and first drafts of Star Wars as a hulking green alien with no nose and large gills. He was a Jedi warrior

 

Boba fett – wears Mandalore battle armor -- the same used by a group of evil warriors who were defeated by the Jedi Knights years before TPM

 

Chewie - George Lucas' inspiration for Chewbacca was his loyal pet Alaskan malamute, Indiana, who would also inspire the name of a globe-trotting archaeologist several years later
