BahamutZERO
I've been coming across a few probs lately with a player model I'm making in Milkshape, especially with bones, tags, and the root.xsi? Well, I have the tags sorted out, but I'm totally lost with bones, weighting and getting the model into game?
ksk h2o
You can't make a player model in milkshape. You will need 3ds max to do all the weighing.
BahamutZERO
You mean there's no other way?! Weighting is when you assign the mesh/vertices to a specific join or bone right? I thought Milkshape already did that? And after seeing this (scroll down a bit til you see some posts by DemonPrincess and some of them have links to them with animations) I thought it was possible, but..... BahamutZERO
So......is my only alternative to have someone do it for me?
El Sitherino
yeah those were for quake so she could do it with milkshape but for jk2 you need 3dsmax. or someone with it to get it in game.
