Valo
i have the all the things i thought were right by editing the model_default.skin file in notepad and changing it to kyle. and i open the SP game and start a new game and the obi 1 model is there but he has little problems with the front of his cloth and a part on the back of his collar, it isnt textured or something. i think it is becuase its a model and not a skin, is there something im doing wrong. Darth Vader III
I had once the same problem... Umm... Try it again. Start everything from the beginning and if you still don't succeed then I can't help you.
boinga1
alright. .surf files don't work in SP. You will have to open up the .skin files. I am assuming you need an unrobed version. head,models/players/epiI_obi/head.jpg head_ears,models/players/epiI_obi/head.jpg head_face,models/players/epiI_obi/head_face.jpg head_ponytail,models/players/epiI_obi/head.jpg head_braid,models/players/epiI_obi/head.jpg torso,models/players/epiI_obi/torso.jpg r_arm,models/players/epiI_obi/torso.jpg l_arm,models/players/epiI_obi/torso.jpg r_hand,models/players/epiI_obi/hands.jpg l_hand,models/players/epiI_obi/hands.jpg l_leg,models/players/epiI_obi/legs.jpg r_leg,models/players/epiI_obi/legs.jpg hips,models/players/epiI_obi/hips.jpg hips_belt,models/players/epiI_obi/hips_belt.jpg head_eyes_mouth,models/players/epiI_obi/head_face.jpg robe, nodraw torso_robe,nodraw torso_cap_head_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg head_cap_torso_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg torso_cap_hips_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg hips_cap_torso_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg r_leg_cap_hips_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg l_leg_cap_hips_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg r_hand_cap_r_arm_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg l_hand_cap_l_arm_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg r_arm_cap_torso_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg torso_cap_r_arm_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg l_arm_cap_torso_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg torso_cap_l_arm_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg hips_cap_l_leg_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg hips_cap_r_leg_off,models/players/stormtrooper/caps.jpg these will need to be editted or added if not already present in the model_default.skin .also, an easy way to convert to SP is to extract the .skin files, textures, and model.glm files. cut the .skin and .glm files and paste them in another folder. Name in "kyle". this way you don't have to edit .skin files, since the textures they point to stay in the same place but the model is for kyle. Any more questions?
