DarkFyyar
I'm sorry if this sounds too stupid to you, but I want to create pk3 files for soundeffect replacement. I just want to change things like, music, suondeffects, voices. I know how it works. But I can't create pk3 files. So if anyone can help me with the finding of a pk3 creator... Much thanks in advance:)
Darth Vader III
Zip the directories... Rename .zip to .pk3 Should work
SettingShadow
Yes, winzip works but only for non-XP users, if you have XP I suggest to use Packscape, search for it on google or some search site. Its much easier to use too.
Darth Vader III
What's wrong with XP? If you mean, that the file type doesn't change do this: open any folder, tools/folder options/view, uncheck the "hide extentions for known file types" That should work for XP

Darth Vader III
Do you mean that: A) The file is renamed , but the type (zip/rar) remains? OR B) The file and type are changed, but the .pk3 doesn't work?

Now I have downloaded PakScape and I must say it's GREAT! I can create and edit *.pk3 files... Thanks to you all! DarkFyyar:D
