Lunatic Jedi
Has anyone here played Ghost Recon on Xbox? I'm thinking of getting it, and I have a few things I'd like to find out. Is the graphics engine as dated as it looks? I saw a couple screens of GR, and the graphics looked a little sub-par (are those volumetric trees? :disapprove ) Is it fun? This is probably a given, but I'd just like to know if it is just plain fun in general. Finally, is there a steep learning curve? Is it particularly complicated? Are there any tutorial missions or are you left to hold your own? Thanks.
Dark Warrior
I have the PC version and it is great. From what I've heard from my friends, the XBOX version is excellent. And yes, the game is extremely fun. It is very realistic and it does not a very steep learning curve but it is still pretty hard but imo it makes it more fun. And I do not know about the graphics of the trees on the XBOX version. In the PC version they aren't the greatest, but certainly not bad enough to affect you in any way. Ill check out the XBOX version soon, I will probably rent it. BTW: Your avatar is the same as mine lol.
ET Warrior
I rented Ghost Recon for Xbox....and it wasn't really my type of game.....i'm not a tactical shooter guy, because i always forget to give orders to the npc's on my team.....and then i have no cover fire. But it is a well done tactical shooter. And the graphics DO seem a BIT dated, but not enough that you should worry about it.
