Bot tutorials

Can someone please give me a link to a Jedi Knight 2 tutorial for codding a bot? Not making him with skins and models, but for making them say the stuff they say and stuff. Thanks in advance.

Congratulations, you'd be the first that I've heard of to really expand the bots' ability.

 

There aren't any JK2 specific tutorials, so ... you can write one!

Yet another topic about which I was having a disussion with my team lead that we've got to implement at some point. I've got to modify bot behaviors, so this might be a good spot to share ideas & findings.

 

We are intending to work with the Wired Lamp Studios co-op code, but it appears to have all bot support stripped out. So we may have to go with the WLS' NPC/ICARUS support. Dunno how that's going to turn out...

What is it that you want?

 

You want to kill enemies in groups, like a ladder map? Do you want to have a story in your MP map?

 

There are ways to do both, without breaking a too much of a sweat.
