Shenron Snake Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 When I try to host a server on the internet for everyone to jon it will blow out of the game try to load up but it will say something like Hiltch Warning ***** Stars = Numbers Heartbeat Please Help Me I have been trying to solve this ever since I got it help!!!!!!!!!!Thx!
Datheus Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 That's called dedicated mode... and as far as I know, it's the only way to get your server publically listed on the master server... Beyond that you can do the regular type of server and have people join by connecting to your IP
Andy867 Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Actually, he could use the Jedi Knight 2 dedicated server tools to get his server up which allows for better server administering. But if he just wants to host, he can change the option when hosting to just be broadcast: TCP/Internet and Dedicated=No
