MasterData
Is there a command line switch or something to keep the introductory movie from playing when you start the game?
Datheus
You could try deleting the movie from the install folder... Make sure you back it up before hand, though... I got rid of some of the sounds on the auto run by just deleting the sound file... But be careful, I don't know if it will break your game or not, so back the file up if you decide to try this... Beyond that, I don't think there is a way to do it
RoguePhotonic
Your that bothered by a movie that takes nothing more than a mouse click to skip...
MasterData
Thanks for the tip, Datheus. As for you, RoguePhotonic, not that I owe you an explanation, but I load this game a lot when testing my server settings...sometimes 20 or more times a day. Every little thing that can streamline the startup process helps. Anyway, I found a sort of solution. Now pass my server's IP address right to the game, and it starts the game on that server without going to the video, the menu, or anything. Like this... "C:\Games\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\jk2mp.exe" +set fs_game omnimod +connect 172.18.222.10:28070
