AutoCept Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Okay I'm trying to make a custom cross hair. I've got the design, but the white around it is still there. How do I get rid of the white? http://forums.filesnetwork.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=99549 Thanks.
Psyk0Sith Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 I'm guessing you need an alpha channel (channel that you add to your bitmap with adobe) this channel will be transparent when painted all black R:0 G:0 B:0. Cool crosshair
AutoCept Posted January 9, 2003 Author Posted January 9, 2003 And where do I find this Alpha channel? Is it a layer or what? I'll look for it.
AutoCept Posted January 9, 2003 Author Posted January 9, 2003 One more thing, I have Photoshop elements. So how do I do this?
Psyk0Sith Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 Well i use adobe photoshop 5.0, if i check the help file in ps 5.0 and type "alpha" there's some help on that. I think the image needs to be saved as tga to work.
